National First Responders Day is Oct. 28. Hooters is showing their support for first responders by offering them a free meal with purchase of a drink.

"This special offer is a way of saying thank you to the brave and courageous men and women who continuously dedicate their lives to making sacrifices in our local communities," a press release from Hooters says.

According to that press release, any EMT, firefighters, or police officers will be able to take advantage of the deal if they are in uniform and present proper first responder identification.

Here are the options for the free entree:

  • 10-Piece Traditional, Smoked, or Boneless Wings
  • Buffalo Chicken Salad
  • Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
  • Hooters Burger

Our local Hooters has confirmed they will be participating in the offer.

Only one free meal per first responder.
