TUCSON, AZ – A Tucson mother is angry and searching for answers after she says her 15-month-old daughter had more than two dozen bite marks on her body.

Alicia Martin told KOLD News 13, “At first, I was like are those really bite marks? And then, my brain kinda stopped thinking and I started crying.”

Martin says she found these marks on her 15-month-old daughter’s back, after picking her up from Creative Beginnings Preschool in Tucson Arizona.

Alicia and her husband, both former Marines, chose the facility because it was accredited and close to work and the University of Arizona, where Alicia is going to school.

Alicia filed a report with Tucson Police they say the bites appear to be from another child. The case was handed over to the Child Physical Abuse Unit.

KOLD News 13 reports they reached out to the preschool where the attack allegedly occurred. They report the claims are unsubstantiated.

“Do I know what happened? No, but I know that a child getting bitten that many times would be crying and very upset.”

Please share. We just EAS’d and moved to Tucson. Within 5 days of starting her new daycare my daughter was bit 25+…
