The fast-food company Burger King revealed their “Impossible” plant-based burger in a Youtube video.
With the help of California’s Impossible Burger Company, who supplies meatless substitutes for Red Robin and White Castle, Burger King is testing out their new burger at 59 restaurants in Missouri.
The Youtube video showcasing the new burger has customers unknowingly trying the new beef-less burger and finding out what it was made from in the parking lot afterward.
The fast-food industry has seen an increase in meatless moves like this recently. KFC is developing meatless chicken, Pizza Hut sells vegan pizza in Britain, and Mcdonalds has a McVegan burger in Sweden and Finland.
