While searching for people stranded by massive floods in Nebraska, crews found some four legged survivors.

The Nebraska State Patrol posted pictures of pups rescued over the weekend.

The dogs were found in the midst of widespread evacuations caused by historic flooding.

Nearly 300 people have been rescued from the high water across the state.

In Omaha, the Missouri River has reached historic levels.

Forecasters expect other rivers in the area to continue to crest through Tuesday.
