The address, 375 Greenwich St., matches that of the Tribeca Film Center. Robert De Niro is the founder of the Tribeca Film Festival.
A containment unit could be seen leaving the scene just before 7 a.m. Eastern time.
It is unclear if the package is related to recently mailed pipe bombs.
President Donald Trump lashed out at the media on Twitter this morning for causing the “Anger we see today in our society.”
A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News. It has gotten so bad and hateful that it is beyond description. Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!
