NASHVILLE, TN. – Country music singer Brad Paisley and his wife say they are teaming up with private Christian liberal arts university to open a free grocery store.

According to the Tennessean, the singer says the store is going to give free food for folks who have fallen on hard times.

The country singer and his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley will team up with Belmont University.

“All of us are one unforeseen disaster away from rock bottom. It’s nice to think about a place where when that happens to someone, they can use it to get back on their feet,” Paisley told the newspaper.

The name of the grocery store will be called The Store. The store is a non-profit organization.

The Tennessean also reports The Store will include toys for the children. Also, the store will have toys throughout the year. The Store will take new, unopened toys.

If you want to donate to The Store, visit www.thestore.org.
