The internet has recently become a lot more accessible to those who have served our country.

Comcast announced they are expanding their “Internet Essentials” program to about 1 million low-income veterans.

Under the new program, Comcast will provide eligible veterans with access to the internet for $9.95 a month. There is no installation fee, no term contract and includes in-home WiFi.

The program also allows veterans to purchase computers at a discounted rate.

“These are people who have stood up for our country, put there lives on the line for America and we believe it’s time to stand up for them,” David Cohen, Senior Executive VP for Comcast said.
