CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Murder suspect Maliek Gordon made his first court appearance since his arrest Tuesday.
Gordon was told he faces a felony charge of homicide for the December 29 shooting death of Miguel Rhodes.
Rhodes was killed during an argument at the Weber Square Apartments.
Gordon told the judge he has hired an attorney but that attorney wasn't at the hearing.
Judge Missy Medary reset the hearing for a later date to confirm that Gordon has actually hired an attorney.
