There are two days left in early voting and Nueces County has surpassed all ballots cast in the 2014 midterm election by more than 20,000 votes.

Coastal Bend residents will have one more chance to hear from candidates in the Texas U.S. senate race in person. Beto O’Rourke will be in Robstown today while Ted Cruz will speak in Corpus Christi on Saturday.

Congressman O’ Rourke has conducted 58 early voting events in Texas since early voting began on Oct. 22. He has repeatedly drawn large crowds to his events in the Coastal Bend and across Texas. The El Paso native has visited all 254 counties in the state, some multiple times.

You can hear him speak at 9 a.m. today at the Richard M. Borchard Fairgrounds, 1213 Terry Shamsie Blvd. in Robstown.

On Saturday, Ted Cruz will speak in Corpus Christi to rally his supporters on his #CruzToVictory campaign. Cruz has made 21 stops across Texas on the bus tour since early voting began.

Cruz will speak at the Henry Garret Ballroom at the American Bank Center at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. To RSVP, click here.

Cruz has consistently led O’Rourke in the polls, though that lead is diminishing, according to a new UT-Tyler poll that has Cruz leading O’ Rourke by 4 points.

Election Day is Tuesday.
