CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — As part of it's 70th anniversary celebration the Nueces County Park Board welcomed lots of young minds to the Texas Sealife Center.
Kids from the Flour Bluff Padre Island 4-H club learned about conservation efforts for local wildlife like sea turtles, exotic reptiles, and birds.
The kids also learned why it's important to keep our beaches clean by throwing away trash which doesn't belong there.
The teens say they plan to pass the message of keeping beaches clean along to younger children.
