The man arrested at the scene was 39 year-old Rodrigo Garza Jr. He is being charged with murder.

A woman was found dead in a South Side apartment Friday.
Corpus Christi police were called out to the Weber Square Apartments just before 7:30 p.m., where they found a 33-year-old woman stabbed.
She later died.
A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene. Police say the two did know each other and it does not appear to be a random act of violence.
