CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Today kids from across the Coastal Bend competed to be the best speller.
About 80 elementary and middle school students took part in the 2020 Scripps Spelling Bee at the American Bank Venter.
Our own Paulo Salazar and Mike Gillaspia were the pronouncers for today's competition.
Today's winner was Manav Dash from Windsor Park Elementary.
He'll now move on to the national competition.
