Where to vote early in the Nueces county runoff election this week

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces county is holding a runoff election and early voting takes place until Friday.

Early voting takes place from July 6 through 10 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Election Day for this runoff election is officially Tuesday, July 14.

In response to the coronavirus, election volunteers have implemented new health protocols meant to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

  • Polling stations will provide the Q-tips for voters to mark their ballot on electronic voting touch screens
  • Poll workers will wear face masks or face shields
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at all voting locations
  • Each voting site will be cleaned and disinfected after each voter
  • And social distancing rules will be in place
