Both West Oso ISD and Ingleside ISD announced their junior high school campuses will be switching to remote learning starting Wednesday Dec. 9.

The West Oso school district was informed on Tuesday that an employee at their junior high school tested positive for COVID-19, prompting the district to switch the campus to virtual learning until further notice.

Ingleside ISD also decided to switch to remote learning after they found out an employee at Leon Taylor Junior High School tested positive for COVID-19. They decided it was in the school’s best interest as they are now short-staffed after three of their staff being confirmed positive and three more staff in quarantine.

Students will return back to campus on Dec. 17.
