CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez highlighted the district's achievements during his annual "State of the District" address on Wednesday.
The State of the District event raised more than $112,000 to benefit the Corpus Christi Independent School District. Proceeds from the event go to the Corpus Christi Education Foundation, which CCISD says serves and supports CCISD students and educators through financial contributions and volunteer service.
