CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Officials in Nueces County have opened warming centers throughout the Coastal Bend because of the recent cold snap.
The county set them up with the help of agencies like the Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
There are seven locations available -- including the Hilltop Community Center by Annaville also in Robstown, Bishop and Agua Dulce.
The warming centers will be open until 5 this afternoon.
