Arsonists have struck again in Ingleside.

The Ingleside Fire Department was called to a fire at Whitney Lake Marsh Park around 8:30 a.m. A wooden walkway at the wildlife refuge was set intentionally on fire, according to Ingleside Police Chief Tammy Burr. Burr said the damp wood from the recent weather caused a slow burn, so firefighters were able to put it out without much issue. About eight to 10 feet of the walkway was damaged.

This is the second arson case in Ingleside in the last three days. Vandals set fire to a Little League concession stand Saturday around 11:45 p.m. Police released surveillance video on Monday of two persons of interest in Saturday's arson case. Burr said they arrested a juvenile in this case Monday night.

Ingleside Police are asking anyone with information about either of these cases to call the Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-245-8477 or submit an online tip to www.p3tips.com/437.
