Two teens arrested for suspicion of murdering man in his truck near Cunningham Middle School

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Police arrested two teenages in Alice for a murder that happened in Corpus Christi in early March.

Joseph Gonzalez, 17, and Jesse Miguel Munoz, 18, are accused of murdering a 41-year-old Abel Gonzalez. Just after midnight on March 7, Abel Gonzalez was found shot to death in his truck in the 2500 block of McArdle Road near Cunningham Middle School.

A couple of days later, CCPD asked the public for help looking for Paul Rowland,35,who they said was a person of interest in the case. On March 17, San Patricio Sheriff's department reported finding Rowland's body in a ditch along FM 666 near the Nueces River.

The two teens are being held in the Jim Wells County Jail each on a $1 million bond.
