CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - — Through the support of donors, the Salvation Army provided 28 kids a shopping spree at J.C. Penney today.
The children were give $250 each to pick out new clothes and learn about managing money with discounts and taxes.
The annual event prepares students to feel confident in the classroom no matter what their family is going through.
Donations to fund the shopping spree event are still being accepted at the Salvation Army.
