CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Thousands of people are packing the downtown area for the 15th Annual Realms Con and Multimedia Convention.
The Emerald Beach Hotel is playing host to all of the comic enthusiasts, gamers, anime fans, and horror junkies.
The event started yesterday and runs through tomorrow.
Organizers say the biggest draw for the event is the cosplay contest.
"It's one of our biggest events here and all these attendees make their costumes throughout the whole year just for this event," said one of their event organizers.
A rave will cap off today's activities.
More than than three thousand people are expected to attend that event.
