CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Texas General Land Office has prioritized $135 million in Hurricane Harvey funds to help low-to-moderate income renters.
The GLO will use the money to fully fund 14 multi-family developments.
Some of them will be rebuilt facilities and some will be new construction.
Aransas County will receive $12.6 million for two multi-family developments.
San Patricio County will get $15.5 million for a 128-unit, multi-family complex.
And Nueces County will receive $8.1 million for a multi-family apartment complex with 60 units.
