CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The manhunt is over for the man suspected of killing a Houston-area police officer two days ago.
Tavores DeWayne Henderson -- the suspect in the felony murder of Nassau Bay Police Sgt. Kaila Sullivan -- has been taken into custody.
Authorities say Henderson ran over Sullivan during a traffic stop on Tuesday morning then fled.
The Department of Public Safety had since been sending out Blue Alerts asking the public for help locating Henderson.
They believed he was heading to Louisiana.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, he was arrested at a home in a southern area of Houston.
