CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Streets across Corpus Christi were under water Wednesday afternoon after strong storms and heavy rained moved through the Coastal Bend.
Roads around Moore Plaza were swamped with floodwater. A neighborhood in the area of Southbay Drive and Baylark near Flour Bluff was also inundated with high waters.
The storm left some 10,000 people without power for a period of time. Traffic lights at Waldron and SPID were also affected by the outage, which created some traffic delays for lunchtime drivers.
