CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An overnight police chase ended in a crash on the city's southside early Thursday morning.
The incident began just after 2:00 a.m. after police responded at a gas station near Panama Drive and Weber Road for a call about a stolen vehicle.
The suspects took off in the car which prompted a chase.
Several shots were fired toward the responding officers.
The stolen car eventually crashed near the intersection of McArdle and Rodd Field Road.
At least three people fled the vehicle and ran.
Officers closed off several streets in the area to search for the suspects, but at this point, no arrests have been made.
