CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — DPS Troopers tried to pull over a suspected drunk driver on the city's south-side and it leads up to a high-speed chase.

The chase started just before 2:30 AM Friday near old Brownsville Road near Saratoga.

DPS Troopers tried to pull over the male driver of a white vehicle when it gave chase and lead law enforcement officers almost circling the city.

Speeds in the chase reached more than 100-miles-per-hour.

Officers deployed spike strips and the vehicle eventually came to a stop near the intersection of Greenwood Road and Port Avenue.

The chase is said to have lasted almost ten minutes.
