CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A small fire caused damage to two popular spots in downtown Corpus Christi Sunday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m.,Corpus Christi firefighters responded to a call at Mesquite Street Pizza where a fire started, causing some electrical damage to the building. The flames caused some minor exterior damage to the House of Rock building as well.
Firefighters managed to put out the fire in about five minutes, and nobody was hurt.
Owners of Mesquite Street Pizza tell KRIS 6 News they will be closed for a few days for repairs.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
