SINTON, Texas — Folks who use the Sinton public water system are breathing a sign of relief this weekend.
This after the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality says City of Sinton employees have taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water.
After a series of troubling damages to major water lines in Sinton, the water boil notice was issued on Wednesday.
However, TCEQ officials stated, "laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of January 15, 2021."
