Corpus Christi Police Department officers said Thursday that what was originally called in as a shooting turned out to be a false alarm.
At 2:25 p.m., CCPD Public Information Officer Travis Pace said a call came in reporting a shooting.
After contacting the people inside the house, located in the 4000 block of Cimarron, it was searched multiple times and no one was found to have suffered gunshot wounds.
