SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The family of late Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla-Perez plan to make a major announcement next week.
Q Productions, Suzette Quintanilla, A.B. Quintanilla and San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg will make an announcement at the Alamodome on Tuesday. The subject will be about a celebration of Selena's legacy.
For the past five years, Corpus Christi celebrated Selena's legacy by hosting a festival called Fiesta de la Flor.
Last October, her family told Visit Corpus Christi it would not hold the festival here but didn't provide a reason why.
