CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — You better not pout, you better not cry. Why? Because Santa Claus is coming to town!
Santa’s sleigh makes its way to La Palmera Mall in Corpus Christi Thursday Nov. 19 with a “Drive N’ Wave” parade. After the parade he’s at the mall to stay. From Nov. 20 through Dec. 24, Santa will be available for visits in-person and by virtual reservation in Center Court inside the mall.
The “Drive N’ Wave” parade will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., but there’s a twist. Instead of you parking and watching the parade, you will get in-line and slowly drive past parade participants who will be set-up at the front of the mall between Dillard’s and JCPenney. There will be musical performances, holiday characters, and of course the big jolly guy himself.
Parade-goers can start lining-up off McArdle Rd at 6:30 p.m., and slowly make their way to the front.
Visits with Santa starting the day after, will be socially distanced, with a plexiglass photo frame in between visitors and Santa. This year, visits with Santa will be by reservation only.
