RTA shuttles available for Friday's Miller-Vets game

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Free park-and-ride shuttles will be available to take people to Buccaneer Stadium from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday for the Miller vs. Veterans Memorial Class 5A Region 4 semifinal.

The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA)'s free shuttles will pick up customers at City Hall before dropping off at Buc Stadium. City Hall will have free parking, with specially marked spaces; RTA staff and security will be on-site.

RTA transportation vehicles are ADA compliant, and have ramps, wheelchair lifts, and secured wheelchair seating. No flammable items are allowed on CCRTA vehicles.

The CCISD announced Tuesday that 200 general admission tickets will be available for purchase at the gate for both the Miller and the Veterans Memorial sides for the game on Friday.

The ticket windows and gates will open at 12:30 p.m. The game starts at 2 p.m.

For those unable to buy tickets, KRIS 6 will be airing the game beginning at 1:50 p.m. Friday, and livestreaming it on the KRIS app and KRISTV.com.

KRIS-TV is available on channel 7 on Spectrum and Grande. For ATT's U-Verse and DIRECT-TV KRIS-TV is available on channel 6.

The replay of the big game will re-air on Saturday at 1 p.m. on The CW.
