CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — How do you say goodbye to more than 100 years of experience? Well for starters, you throw a big party.
That's what the Regional Transportation Authority did Tuesday for seven of their bus drivers.
The drivers say they're all looking forward to their retirement, but they do plan to keep in touch.
Walter Rives, who was a bus driver with the RTA for quite some time, says, "We're like family, we're like family. We depended on each other for so much while we worked together."
We all at KRIS 6 News wish all these former bus drivers nothing but the best as they roll into retirement.
