ROCKPORT, Texas — Rockport police are looking for a hit and run driver involved in a fatal accident Tuesday night.
Phillip Chupe, 63, was riding a mobility scooter along Business Highway 35 just before 6 p.m. Tuesday when he was hit by a vehicle.
Chupe died at the scene.
The vehicle that hit him is believed to be 2011 to 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, or a similar vehicle.
It should have extensive damage to the right front and along the right side.
The vehicle was last seen headed toward Aransas Pass.
