ROBSTOWN, Texas — In Robstown several smiles were put on children’s faces with a Christmas gift as the police department along with many helpers put together “Blue Christmas”.
The Robstown Police Department together with the Robstown Fire Department, the City of Robstown Emergency Medical Services, Toys for Tots, Robstown Independent School District, the Nueces County Water Control & Improvement District #3, and Child Protective Services helped spread the joy of Christmas to children who may not have had a gift this year.
“We're just trying to have all the kids involved, nobody left out especially the less fortunate,” said police chief Enrique Paredes Jr.
The police department and the other entities involved are glad they got to help spread some cheer.
