Robstown police looking for 19-year-old shooting suspect

ROBSTOWN, Texas — The Robstown Police Department is looking for a 19-year-old man in connection with a recent shooting at the Johnny Calderon apartment complex.

They are seeking Walter Hopkins Jr., who currently has an active arrest warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police said early on the morning of July 18, the shooting occurred at the apartment complex. A police investigation revealed that Hopkins allegedly pulled out a gun and shot multiple times in the direction of a resident of an apartment.

Hopkins is considered to be armed and dangerous, police said. Anyone with information
