CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Corpus Christi is warning residents around Slough road about upcoming construction work.
If the weather allows, It will start at 8 am Wednesday, August 14, and last till 7 pm daily until work is complete.
"During construction hours, eastbound and westbound Slough Road will be reduced to one lane for both directions, in 800-feet sections, between Rodd Field Road and Pennine Way. Flaggers will control traffic around the work zone during construction." officials posted.
The city reminds drivers to use caution or seek alternate routes if you are planning to drive near the work zone.
