CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The family of the New Hampshire couple who was killed in October says they've received the remains of their loved ones.

This comes after James and Michelle Butler's bodies were found in October in a shallow grave on Padre Island.

The family received the remains recently and now they're planning a celebration of life for the Butlers which they hope to hold in January.

Deborah Van Loon, who is James' sister, says the couple was cremated in Texas before being sent home to New Hampshire just over a week ago.

She also says it's been a difficult time for the family who will spend their first Christmas together without James and Michelle there.

Over the holidays, they've been planning the celebration of life for their lost loved ones.

The family also set up a GoFundMe page raising money so they can travel to Texas when a trial begins.

By the way, two suspects were arrested in Mexico after they were seen driving the Butler's stolen truck.

That is Adam Williams and Amanda Noverr.

They've been charged with felony theft and still remain in jail at this time.
