CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The president of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Dr. Kelly Quintanilla delivered her annual state of the university address.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi recently was named the number one college by the sea and just got a national ranking in engineering.
The school was the fifth-lowest ranked in the state when it came to student debt. And it came in No. 10 for systems dealing with unmanned aircraft.
“And when you start to hear all of this data together, it really shows that there's excellence in your backyard here in the Coastal Bend,” Quintanilla said. “And our reach is national and international so that's the most exciting part for me.”
Campus tours were offered afterwards. And one of the highlights was a tour of Tidal Hall, the newest building on campus.
