Police issued a murder warrant for a man suspected of shooting 17-year-old Herbert Morton on Carolyn Drive on Thursday night.

Corpus Christi Police Department Officers are searching for 18-year-old Christopher Orgas.

He reportedly is 5-foot-8 and 170 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

Officers reportedly were called to the 2200 block of Carolyn Drive last week where residents said they heard about 10 shots fired shortly before 7 p.m.

He was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline, where he died from his injuries.

Police declined to comment on whether the men knew each other.

They ask that if you've seen Orgas or know where to find him, to call (361) 888-TIPS (8477) or submit the information online at this webpage.

He is considered an offender of the week, making the reward for his capture $500.

Orgas' murder charge carries a $1 million bond.
