Police search for overnight armed robbery suspects

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Corpus Christi police are looking for two men who held up a convenience store clerk at gunpoint.

The armed robbery happened just before 4 a.m. Friday at a convenience store located near S.P.I.D. and Highway 361 on the Island.

Police say two men, an Hispanic and Black man, walked into the store and one of them pulled out a gun and pointed it at the clerk. The suspects demanded cash and took several scratch-off lottery tickets according to police.

The suspects took off in a vehicle. Detectives are reviewing surveillance video to identify the make and model of the vehicle the suspects took off in.
