Police search for clues, tips in July homicide investigation

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Investigators need the public's help in finding a suspect who murdered a 40-year-old man.

The Nueces County Sheriff’s Office is trying to find the person who responsible for the murder of 40-year-old Jaydee Rodriguez.

On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, the body of Jaydee Rodriguez was discovered by a worker at the Chapman Ranch Cotton Gin, located at 1726 County Road 6 in Nueces County, Texas. Corpus Christi police say Rodriguez was reported missing on July 21.

Police say evidence found at the scene indicated that Rodriguez was murdered at another location and his body was dumped at Chapman Ranch Cotton Gin.
