CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If you have plans on heading to Padre Island to celebrate Fourth of July, here's a reminder that the Padre Island National Seashore is closed for the holiday weekend
Access to the park's beaches and overnight beach camping will resume next Tuesday at 6 a.m.
The Malaquite Visitor Center, the Malaquite campground and the Bird Island Basin campground are also closed until further notice.
