CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The public is being invited to check out the newly renovated Phillip Dimitt Municipal Fishing Pier.
The pier is located on Jester Street over in Flour Bluff.
The pier had been for remodeling closed since 2018.
Led lighting, benches and fish washing stations have been added to the pier.
The pier also got new floorboards and guardrails.
$480,000 was spent on the renovation from the 2018 Bond Project.
A portion of the parking is also being repaired.
That worked should be completed by Summer 2021.
