CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An 18 wheeler rollover caused major traffic delays Tuesday morning into the afternoon.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. and caused lane closures on 181 headed southbound as you turn onto I-37 North.
Police say the driver was going a bit too fast as the rig was coming off the bridge and onto northbound Interstate 37. The driver lost control and flipped the 18 wheeler on its side.
A large amount of diesel fuel from the tanks spilled onto the highway. Fortunately the driver wasn't hurt.
It took most of the afternoon to clean up the mess and remove the wrecked truck.
