CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Omni Hotel Wednesday night played host to some outstanding women in education.
The Education Service Center, Region 2 hosted their annual "Outstanding Women in Education Awards".
54 women were honored for their leadership qualities and innovative practices.
This annual event is held in celebration of Women's History Month.
