CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — UPDATE (2:33 p.m.): CCPD Lt. Michael Pena told said the infant has died.
A 1-year-old baby was rushed to the hospital after it was found unconscious underwater.
The incident happened inside an apartment in the 1600 block of Nile Drive just after 10 a.m. Monday.
When medics arrived at the scene, the child was rushed to Bay Area Hospital.
Corpus Christi Police Lt. Nicholas Kless says there does not appear to be foul play involved, but added police are still investigating the incident.
Kless added there were three children inside of the home at the time of the incident.
The baby's medical condition is not known at this time.
