A Corpus Christi police officer involved in another shooting a little more than a month ago remains on administrative leave.
The 24-year-old man shot by William Hobbs still is hospitalized from injuries he received in a Sept. 10 shooting.
Hobbs was investigating a report of a man causing a disturbance on Weber Road near Gollihar Road.
Hobbs said he fired his weapon at the man because he was swinging a pipe at him.
Hobbs was involved in another shooting in 2011, shooting a passenger in a car who tried to run him over, along with two other officers.
