Nueces County hotline and online registration to open for COVID-19 vaccinations

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District will not receive any vaccine shipments today or this weekend due to the extreme weather event.

However, the health district is anticipating receiving this week's allocation of 5,000 first dose vaccines plus an additional 5,000 first dose vaccines the week of February 22.

Four thousand Phase 1A and 1B clients already are pre-registered.

Additional clients can pre-register through the Health District’s registration hotline Saturday, February 20 between the hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To pre-register by phone, call 361-561-1101.

The Health District will open its on-line pre-registration on Monday, February 22 at 10 a.m.

To pre-register online, click on the “Vaccination Registration” link. During online pre-registration you must receive a Quick Response (QR) code.

The Health District anticipates receiving 10,000 second dose vaccines next week.

These vaccines will be administered by appointment only for clients who were vaccinated on January 26 or January 29 at a Health District drive thru event.
