CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces County commissioners have decided to hold off on a discussion to regulate game rooms.
On Thursday, commissioners voted to table that discussion after hearing from several game room managers and owners.
They told commissioners they're in favor of regulations, but they also want to be able to give input on their wording.
Commisioners agreed to start drafting the regulations using that input from game room operators and owners.
Among the regulations being considered is requiring permits for game room operators and setting hours of when they can be open.
