CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Nueces County Jail has some new faces on its roster.
Twelve cadets -- ranging in age from 18 to 61-- were sworn in this afternoon after completing the four- week long jailer training academy.
They also passed a state exam.
The ceremony took place at Commissioner's Court.
Cadets were given a Certificate of Achievement and a pin.
They say they're looking forward to serving the community.
